How do dog crates work?

A dog crate, sometimes called an interior kennel or dog cage, is made to be a safe and secure space that a dog can enter for brief periods of time.

Uses for dog crates

The size of your dog's crate should allow it to stretch, stand, turn around, and lie down. Purchase a crate for your puppy that will accommodate its growth. It is not advisable to transport your puppy in an adult-sized container; a smaller place will provide them with greater protection.
